Our First Grandchild

We are living in thanksgiving for all of our blessings here in Sanpete. We count among our most valued blessings our family, our faith in God, and our business that supports us in life. Last week we met our first grandson Zachary Brett Blackham who gave us all new titles in life (like grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, aunt and uncle). We are so happy that he arrived here healthy and beautiful. He has his daddy chubby cheeks and mommy's nose. A handsome little man.

Who's a Who?

Brenden and Bryce are little actors in the H.S. play, "Susical the Musical." They are little "who's" in "who-ville" and sing many group songs too. They seem to enjoy it....even though they have missed many hours of "Guitar Hero" jam sessions and "PS2 Golfing" with Tiger Woods.

Knowledge and Distance

Emilee and John are getting some knowledge and distance training.... Emilee began Pharmacy School in Salt Lake City and spends the week there, coming home only on the weekends. So far she is a star "A" student which pleases all of us. John continues to host his morning radio show in Manti and special broadcasts for communities all over the central part of Utah.

Redwoods and Waves

Brad and his wife Heather moved to Arcata, California. The Redwood forests to the east and the ocean to the west are both within 5 minutes drive, either way! They love the beach for walking and viewing. The most famous large Sequoia tree in California, that people drive through, is moments from where they live. We are happy for them in their new adventure though we miss them dearly!

Taijung, Taiwan Mission Call

Our son Brigham has accepted a mission call to Taiwan. He will enter the Provo MTC on December 10, 2008. We are looking forward to seeing family and friends gather at his farewell dinner after church on November 30, 2008 at about 12:00 noon. We are planning a Chinese Cuisine and good fortune for him!
